1924年-2017年
1942年東京美術学校に入学。以降、独自の技法を開発駆使し受賞を重ねました。又、メキシコで銅版画指導も行いました。初期のモノクロの作品から、のちには鮮烈な色彩を用い叙事詩的テーマを取りあげるようになりました。戦後銅版画の第一人者のひとりです。
